Canoe articles - Dordogne 2003 - Day 6: May 19th

Monday 19th May
I was up at 5.45am and away at 6am without any breakfast. It took me 50 minutes to paddle to Le Buisson. I left
the canoe and walked a couple of kilometres up to the railway station. I had breakfast waiting for the train to
Niversac. Here I changed trains and reached Brive at about 10am. I had a 4-hour wait here before getting the bus
to Argentat. I collected my van and drove back to Le Buisson to pick up my canoe. It was a stormy day so it was
just as well that I had completed my paddle.
Tuesday 20th May/ Wednesday 21st May/ Thursday 22nd May
I took 2 days to drive through France then took the early morning ferry from Caen to Portsmouth.
