This is a round tour. About 80% of the route is on lakes and the remainder on small streams.
Start: Skebokvarn. Skebokvarn is on highway 57 just east of Flen and 30 km east of Katrineholm.
Distance: 55 km
Portages: 3 portages 0.4 - 3.0 km
Difficulty: Easy
The route:
From Skebokvarn paddle SE and enter lake Båven. After passing under highway 55 Head SW and south
to Sibrokvarn where ther is a 750 m portage into Lidsjön. About halfway down the west shore you enter the
Husbyån. Paddle up this small stream to a dam which must be portaged on the left into Torpfjärden and then
into Långhalsen. Take your canoe out of the water at the NE corner of Långhalsen and portage 3 km lake
Uren. Paddle NW up Uren until Forsnäs where the small stream Forsän heads NE into Båven. Paddle up
Båven back to your starting point.
