Supply Break: Thursday 23rd May – Monday 27th May
I had to return to the “Hiker’s Heaven” at Aqua Dulce to collect my drift bag then I drove into Los Angeles
to buy my supplies for the next 2 months. I spent the night at Aqua Dulce along with about 20 thru-hikers. I left
early in the morning to start dropping off supplies. In 5 days I drove 2000 miles and had dropped off 14 of my 16
supply caches by 27th May. With a day to spare, I decided to investigate the area of Hot Springs east of the
Mammoth Lakes Ski Resort.
