PCT 2006 - Pre-hike 11th April
Tuesday 11th April
I woke up at 5am after a good sleep and spent the day at Hiker Heaven. I
sorted out 12 supply bags and had my evening meal at the Mexican Restaurant in
Aqua Dulce. I must admit to preferring the ‘Mexican food’ at fast food outlets to
the real stuff at a proper restaurant!
The weather was cool and cloudy.
I learnt that Geoff Sauffley was due to walk from Campo to Aqua Dulce,
starting a couple of day after me. I also learnt that Billy goat was to be on the trail
again, but wouldn’t be attempting a continuous hike because of the snow.
I checked my email and found it already filling up with unwanted spam.
I was in bed again by 10pm.
